Just played the new Luzardo card

So I just played the new Luzardo card in RS (my opponent was 790 with a 149-80 record and I’m at 819, making a late WS charge). Didn’t even finish the 3rd inning before he raged quit. Won 9-3. Super easy to pick up. His stuff wasn’t nasty. Even hit a grand slam with sandberg. Obviously this was one game but I didn’t have a problem with his prospects card delivery, so buyers beware but from the hitting pov, I wasn’t really fooled. I see he is selling for 100k, just trying give y’all a heads up to save those stubs

Good to know... EXTREMELY small sample size but makes me feel a little better about my 0/5 in headliners trying to get him that way... his pitch mix/velocity looked decent... I figured if his release was at all funky that he'd be really good... guess that's potentially not the case

Yeah obviously small sample sized. But when I played him earlier in the year I didn’t have any trouble. So when I saw I match with him in RS just now, I wasn’t too worried. Hit dingers off of Fb, his sinker, and his curve/change. Lol so don’t feel bad about going 0/5. I was 1/5 on diamonds and luckily got Bellinger

That's weird. I bought him for 81k on the market and just pitched 8 innings of shutout ball with 9ks with him. So we both have small sample sizes. Need more than 1 game to decide if he's good or not....

So headliners came out at 3pm ET, this post was roughly 4pm ET, and you were able to play multiple games in 1 hour with him with the SP stamina the way it is? Must've been busy....

I mean I personally wouldn't have wanted the card because curveball primary is probably one of the worst primaries the way curveballs are in game

Sometimes it may be. Certain guys might have a funky windup or just a "feel" you dont like about them. But I hear you on the price thing.

Yeah that was the only thing. I was hoping to wait until he was around 70k, but got tired of waiting and got him for i think 105k. Not disappointed at all.
