Best 3B option
-
Currently using Awards Chapman, seen a lot of people use Chipper for the switch bat. What do we think the best option at 3rd base is?
-
I use chipper but he's a favorite card for me every year. Lots of good budget/free options though
-
Jackie Robinson, but just got 99 Eddie Mathews.
-
chippers fielding leaves him a bench bat for me. my best 3B's are awards bryant or prime sandoval

I second this, and Pablo has 1st/Catcher eligibility. He does fine behind the plate. He's not Molina, but he gets the job done most of the time.

I kind of feel like third base fielding doesn't matter that much. I prestiged him quickly and he's been very solid fielding.

You have to use the cards you do the best with. Pablo rakes for me, so that's who I've got. They are around the same price (typically), so it's personal preference IMO.

id like to say that fielding isnt much but chipper had too many bobbles or ate up too much. since using the 2 i mentioned i dont know if ive commited a single fielding error just throwing errors from me being dumb on the meter
-
I put the free option Ryne Sandberg in for awhile and did well with him. But wanted so more pop and better defense which is why I bought Chapman. I just dont know if Chapman is getting it done. I struggle hitting with righties too, at least against righties so I was going to look into a switch hitter option at 3rd.
-
Personally, i do really well with 99 Sheffield. You can get by with silver fielding at 3b.
-
Chipper been more then soild for me, but if I wasn't using him I'd use Bichette, Bryant or Sandoval.
-
99 Jackie is free. Haven't found much success with the other 3 baggers
-
Chipper or MVP Bryant for me. When Chipper plays 3B, Bryant goes to 1B to keep his bat in the lineup. Hes a little pricey, but worth it IMO.
-
FOTF Joey Gallo I put there against RHB. I platoon him with Awards Evan Longoria against LHP. However, just like last year, I don't hit much with Longoria...don't know why.

Oh it def. does man trust me. But it seems less of an issue if you have a diamond defender at short. My Gold Glove Longoria takes balls away from my short stop easily lol. Range is ridiculous

lol the consensus is to load up with lefties but i hit WAYYYY better with righties

I use Chipper and Brett. However, I feel like Chipper is losing his gusto these days. Time for some fresh blood.
Eyeballing that awards Bryant, but then I say to myself, POTM Tatis is coming soon. Patience my friend.

George Brett and Gorman are underrated
