Somehow find out how this game could be playable online on TV, don't force us to buy pc monitor for console gaming
That’s a TV problem, not SDS one. They can’t change the input lag on your tv. I bought an LG OLED, with HDMI 2.1, it’s near instantaneous and picture quality destroys any monitor.
Are you concerned at all about burn-in? Have you noticed any? I used to game on a plasma but never noticed any burn in or ghosting.
Not worried in the least. Have had LG OLED for years, starting with the E7P. There are settings and safeguards built into the set, and I use varied content too. If I’m gaming and I’m gonna pause or be away for a long while I’ll just pause the game and turn the tv off. Little things just to be smart about it, but very long gaming sessions for years on these tv’s and never a single even scare of burn in.
I still have an LG Plasma from 2010 and even being this old it has tech to prevent burn in. It alternates pixels or something. So I would imagine today's stuff is pretty rock solid.

I have new Samsung QLED, which should have good gaming mode, it's much better than my older TV, but still not comparable with PC monitor. My PS4 Is hardwired with good internet speed, there Is nothing I can do more. I would buy monitor, if The Show Is only game I play, but I refuse to play for example Ghost of Tsushima and other games on some small screen.
I live in midlle Europe, so maybe distance is other factor of lags, when you play someone overseas -

Less fouls balls and check swings. Like a lot less...

Sure, it has gaming mode and it's a difference comparing to my older TV. About that support of HDMI 2.1 I don't know I can't find it

While it has never felt like a huge deal to me, maybe less lag in major league stadiums so people actually use them.
The stadium lag will be easy to fix. Just replace the 40,000 fans with cardboard cutouts. No mascots, no vendors... that has to save billions of CPU calcs per second. Brilliant!

Another AI randomly generated animation game that strives to "make it excitin'" at the expense of any true consideration to actual simulation or realistic gameplay/outcomes.
But, I'm sure it will be pretty! Perhaps even additional beautiful animation and dynamic play that seldom matches the actual controller input.
I agree with one positive note. It is the cheapest "pay to play". Maybe a reason for that.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAJAHAHAHAHAHA
WAKEY WAKEY FOLKS
SDS ISN'T IMPROVING ANYTHING!
YOU DO THIS EVERY YEAR!
DO NOT BUY 21!

It's going to be [censored] garbage

Forget the PS5, if it came on the PC that would be totally rad.

Yes higher stable framerate in every ballpark. Hopefully, online will be as smooth as offline.

This shouldnt be an issue given that new hardware will be here. And they dont have to make these games on this ancient hardware we are using now.
On that note. Did you guys see what is happening with the new Nvidia cards today?! Insane news. If legit, which they normally are, a card that is better than a 2080 TI will be had for $499! And the 3080 and 3090 are just insane! This could be the biggest jump in PC graphics from one series to the next since 2004. At the time when PC building is got to be at an all time high.

Derek Jeter on the cover.

Hopes? Smooth, realistic H2H gameplay, where hitting and pitching are balanced and neither side is OP to the disadvantage of the other, a new game engine, a game engine that isn’t badly flawed to the point of being unable to field routine fly balls near outfield walls, or throw to second base with your catcher for the first third of the actual baseball season. Maybe animations that actually match up with the calls the game makes on things like check swings, tags and close plays. Universal pitch speeds in all modes, with PCI size decreasing as difficulty increases, as an alternative to making sinkers suddenly come in at 200mph with sharp break when you reach an arbitrary ranking point level, thereby ruining your timing, only to revert to the previous settings when dropping points with the resulting loss and have to regain the previous timing. New game modes, new structures to existing game modes, create a stadium, new commentary at last, new stadiums at last, refined menus and interfaces and a wealth of in game overlay options.
My expectations: Basically a mash up of ‘20 and ‘19 with some new legends and a bit of spit and polish to the GFX and audio. By July, we’ll be twenty five patches deep and the majority will have given up caring or complaining about gameplay on TSN. Just like every other year.
