Why draft a pitcher in Showdown

Drafted Silver Ruth because the otherv3 players weren't needed. Get to the mini mission where I have to get on basec2x with am XBH.

Get the XBH but the other 3 batters were all warning track shots.

Go into pitch and instead of Ruth starting; I had a Common SP.

First pitch low and away SMASHED for a HR.

Yep. Gonna be a fun inning.

Put the starter in the #3 spot. That will let him pitch for you. Doesn't make sense but it works

Pitching seems to be minor important in showdown. I draft a silver SP and RP just to be prepared. Then when the next moment unlocks I know how to draft that round.
