Alternate Accounts

How do they work? If I downloaded the game on one account how does it get to the alternate account?

I’m pretty sure you have to have the physical disc to use alt accounts, unless you want to buy the game on each account.

You can just create another account on your PS4. It will let you use it online.

This isn’t true. I own the digital deluxe edition, and back when they had that national baseball card day promo with the free packs I signed in with my wife’s PSN and the game worked fine. Opened the free packs and put together a passable team for her after working the market for a day.

I was able to get her to try it out which was a small victory, but she’s never really been into sports games so that didn’t last. She mostly prefers platformers and story based games.
She does like Rocket League so we’ll play that from time to time, and we just started Overcooked. I can already tell that game will eventually lead to arguments lol.

Oh man, you're in for it with Overcooked. We play that and Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2 together. The two true litmus tests of any relationship

To take this one step further. I have a PS4 and my son has one. Any digital game I purchase with my account he can use on his PS4. As long as it's designated my 'primary' ps4
