Not gonna lie I was going to save my stubs if it was blue jays Alomar but Indians Alomar might be worth the price tag
That WS reward from 17 was Indians Alomar too and he was insane.

Yeah absolutely. Probably the best card available on the market that year. If not for Beltran probably the best card in that game

great another Jay over 500k.
-
I'm backing up the Brinks if my current 4-0 run doesn't go 12-0

He's not gonna be a Jay, the picture was in white and red so I assume he's an Indian.

I completely agree, my two favorite cards from 17 for sure! I remember waiting for that Alomar card in 18 only to be disappointed when they came out with the lesser Blue Jays version that year.

If it's Indians Alomar then I am going to be tempted to sell Mize to pick him up. What's with SDS's timing this year? Musial then Ruth right after Hornsby then Alomar right after.

ok ill rephrase. another 500k card for an all time jays build

Is around 500k where you expect Alomar to settle, similar to Donaldson and Feller?
-
Unless they completely separate this card from reality, it won’t have 80+ power though. What made Alomar amazing in 17 was the 99 scale that kept his power reasonable (and very few other decent options at 2b). I see this card as a second base clone of Rollins without the ability to prestige.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say he'll have 85ish power versus righties and 80-83 versus lefties. 125 contact vs righties, 105 vs lefties.

His power splits are almost identical to Rollins MVP year. I don’t see how they could give Alomar 80 power based on his 1999 gold glove season.

Well they gave him mid 80s power on the 99 scale back in 17. If you translate that to the 125 scale he would have 100 power. But we both know that's not happening, I think the numbers I mentioned are very reasonable but I guess we'll find out.

Well, at least I don’t have to drop 500k now.
-
I never got a chance to use the 2017 Alomar. I heard he was incredible in just about every way. As a HUGE Tribe fan... looks like the stubs are leaving my account!
-
Prepared to spend a million stubs!!

I think he’s going to be much more than that.

Yeah depending on his attributes, he'll be more expensive I think.

Especially if the other one is Wagner. With only one guaranteed in the pack, most 12-0 players are keeping one. The only ones that are going to be sold is to buy the other card. 6 or 700k at least for each of them IMO

Not with power in the 80s (if he even gets that much) he won’t.
