I wish Rock* understood that(2 years in and everything they implement screws 10 other things up). RDR2 could be one of the greast online games ever- but when GTA V has made them over a billion dollars selling fake money who can blame them for treating rdr2 as the proverbial "red headed step child"

Looks like he had never dealt with a patch before. Fix one thing break two more.
We don't want SDS or any game company trying to make massive changes on the fly. -

Without looking a the source code you cannot say that.
They even said in a stream that removing the fans would have wide spread ramifications and essentially break the game.If they do not do it, it is for a reason.

tell your fans you need three days, shut it down online, fix it and move on- for anyone that logged in 3 days before and/or three days after compensate everyone else misses the boat but will enjoy the game more- but to shut the entire game down for 3 days to implement a dh is ignorant, even EA(whom I despise) could fix this in an overnight update, if coding is that construed- this game aint ever gonna be fixed- theyre spending more time trying to get things to work on the new systems than worrying about this, thats the bottomline.

Shut down for three days??? This is business and a three day shutdown is out of the question.
EA could fix it?? That is laughable. I used to play high level Madden and I stopped playing because EA broke last year's game with the fall forward animation. I could hit the ball carrier 4 yds behind the line of scrimmage with LT or Sean Taylor and the ball carrier would stumble forward for a 1 or 2 yard GAIN!!!It took them almost a month to acknowledge and fix the problem.
The DH has never been in DD and it should not ever be in the game.Same way the new rules were implemented (60 game season, universal DH, runner on 2nd in extra innings) were all finalized after the game released. The changes you want are too complex to be done in 3 days.
