Are you talking about in Moments? The reason there isn’t a DH in moments is because there isn’t a DH in any DD mode. Don’t expect it to happen until the league has full time DH
dh should be an option at minimum in ANY mode- this game acts as if it doesnt exist.
There is no DH in DD because there is more strategy involved. There is no purpose for a bench otherwise. There is no DH in moments by extension. If you are playing Franchise or RTTS and the pitcher is hitting in non interleague games than that is your fault

There are a few things to address here.
Under no circumstances is it or should be a requirement that someone be in or a part of MLB for any length of time to understand baseball. There are Millions of people who love and understand baseball but never played the game for any number of reasons.
The DH is not used in DD for a number of reason but the main one being a stragedy aspect. As well SDS stated that they would not be updating the game based on MLB new rules for this season as changes of that nature could impact the game in a negative way(coding is a funny thing, fix one thing and it breaks another) So SDS is not ignoring it they have address the issue.

I personally am not a fan of DH. Baseball player 1st, Pitcher 2nd.
But, I would like to see it be the choice of the Home team. Create a park, DH, Ping based matchups and no backouts would round out my requests on the matter.

It's not an easy update, SDS has already said converting everything to DH this year would break other things.
You are talking about stuff you don't fully understand, coding isn't simple, change one thing and it has unintended effects on two others.

I wish Rock* understood that(2 years in and everything they implement screws 10 other things up). RDR2 could be one of the greast online games ever- but when GTA V has made them over a billion dollars selling fake money who can blame them for treating rdr2 as the proverbial "red headed step child"

We do not know that.
Without looking a the source code you cannot say that.
They even said in a stream that removing the fans would have wide spread ramifications and essentially break the game.If they do not do it, it is for a reason.

tell your fans you need three days, shut it down online, fix it and move on- for anyone that logged in 3 days before and/or three days after compensate everyone else misses the boat but will enjoy the game more- but to shut the entire game down for 3 days to implement a dh is ignorant, even EA(whom I despise) could fix this in an overnight update, if coding is that construed- this game aint ever gonna be fixed- theyre spending more time trying to get things to work on the new systems than worrying about this, thats the bottomline.
