I'm asking because I'm not good enough to buy a new title and think im going to compete and im too old to keep buying new titles so i would like to just stick with this and enjoy, if i ever get good enough say in a year or 2 will people still be playing this years title? i want to compete against humans not the computer, i aint competing right now- the computer getting me and i want to enjoy this like a fine wine not pound my head with hours of practice, im too old for that and too old to think i could compete with you youngsters in a paid tournament, that aint ever happening.

I still play 19. I know other people who buy in 2-3 year intervals. My strategy is typically to grind out all programs, events, ranked season, etc the year the game comes out, and then the next year just play here and there for fun while catching up on other games I had missed.

If you are playing 20, I’m sure you could get a couple more years of enjoyment out of it against human opponents. The only unknown variable here is the fact that PS5 is coming out this holiday season. More people than usual may jump ship for 21.
