Just played a game where my pitcher got the second batter of the game in a 1-2 count, and then the announcer said that’s a quick two up two down while I was still in my windup. A few seconds later I threw the ball and bam, strike three for the second out.. Have you guys had that happen to you??

Depends where you were in your windup, that is, whether you had made that last punch on the controller. If so, it could project anything out. When pitching particularly it sometimes seems certain outcomes are scripted or, maybe more accurately, it makes it very difficult to avoid the outcome the AI wants. But that's probably a different issue than yours.
