This is where the option to prestige players offline would have been handy.
There's clearly set SDS could throw in that requires Prestigeing all of Mantle, Biggio, Sheffield, Trout and the Prestige Nameplate that would give an insane card, but it would alienate the offline players who can't prestige the cards, so they'll never do it.

Sorry to burst your bubble but he will not be a collection this year. Most likely an inning boss. They always make players that were hard to get last year much easier the following year.

I mean. 99 jackie robinson was free and easy to get. And Honus will have similar atts. And because Honus was tough last year, most likely pretty easy this year.

Looking at his card again from last year, it would still be insane this year - almost too good for a program or BR reward. Plus, there’s a locked banner for Mint Condition - same as last year for the Honus collection.
My theory: to get him you have to collect Mantle, Trout, Ruth, Robinson, and maybe someone/something else. Last year them emphasized him being for collectors - I just don’t see that card ever being part of a program or reward.
Honus from last year is coming, but I think he will be some sort of collection.
You are also assuming that the give him a Sig and not a may be Prime card. Most of the time when it's a cards first year in the game it is their best edition and in the next year game they are never as good.
