Alomar is good guess and Wagner, Goose or Lee Smith.
Wagner, Goose, Kimbrel, Kenley, and Eck are the only 5 options for the reliever IMO (Smith Wouldn’t be a 99) -
Dont think Lee or Sutter would be a 99 so we should be in the clear.
-
If it's Wagner that card will be insanely expensive.

Yep. Even his card from last year stayed expensive (for a boss card) throughout the entire year.

I'm gonna guess the Sinature Series closer is Billy Wagner. Any guesses on the Gold Glove Legend?
Roberto Alomar.
ahhhhh just like the old 2017 days RIGHT ON

He was actually a WS reward back then, but he was the best version we've seen ever since.

Andruw Jones. Alomar makes a lot of sense though
Only reason I dont think its Alomar as I dont see them putting 2 big Blue Jays cards as BR rewards.

They don't have to make him a Blue Jay though. That card from 17, which was his best card, was from when he was on the Indians.

If they can keep giving out 99s for future stars, and players like Jimmy Rollins, or James Paxton, they can give a 99 to Lee Smith. He was the all time leader in saves when he retired, and is a Hall of Famer.

I mean sure, but he didn’t when any major rewards, thus disqualifying him for an awards card, and his signature series was a 94 last year, and they haven’t changed a Thing about sig cards from last year other that them giving walter Johnson a sinker(I don’t remember if he had one last year). A prime card won’t be rated much higher than a sig card. Future stars and Monthly awards are not comparable to normal Flashback and legend cards, ratings are calculated differently but I suppose its a lost cause because the future stars hate group will stop at nothing to prove a certain legend “deserves” a 99 even though it doesn’t matter in the slightest.

I think you missed my overall point. Paxton was a 96 card, and was upgraded to a 99 this year. Rollins best card was a 91 last year and they bumped him up to a 99, (although it looks like he had one in 17) . Some future stars cards have gone from silver or worse (LS) to diamond to 99 diamonds.
My point is that they can find a way to bump any card to 99. He also has enough credentials that it would be rationalized as deserved.

Rollins wasn’t in the game last year. The 91 you speak of is his veteran card from the set 2 headliners. Future stars are completely irrelevant to the conversation because they are completely made up and have no stats to back up the attributes. What my main point is, is that signature series cards have not changed from last year. Sale, Boggs, Sandberg, Posada, and Carew, and Hoffman are identical cards to last year. Feller and Ryan are identical cards from last year other than outlier. Walter Johnson is the only real exception, but his attributes(and therefore rating) will be the same. Outlier+ Sinker being the difference. Lee Smith will be a 94. There is absolutely 0 doubt in my mind

Oh, well that proves my point even more then lol. So the only differences between sig cards from last year and this year is outlier
