You guys act like every second of your lives are so valuable that you couldn’t possibly use Walter Johnson. His windup is literally 2 seconds longer than other SPs. Even if he throws 40-50 pitches per game out of the windup, you’re talking about like a minute and a half longer. None of your lives are nearly interesting enough for you to whine as hard as you do about his windup.
His windup issues isn’t about taking time out of life lol it’s about Rhythm. Using analog having a good rhythm motion is really important. Rhythm is a big part of a pitchers motion which is why you don’t really see anyone in the mlb use old school windups because it’s wasted motion. Wasted motion = wasted energy

I mean you can’t expect too much though. Griffey, Piazza, Alomar, Verlander, Pujols, Bench, Ted, Billy Wagner, and Goose were all inning bosses last year. Jimmie Foxx, Kershaw, Honus, and Kenley/Eck are the only 4-5 really desirable cards that have much of a chance at an inning boss spot IMo

I'm putting Ruth in LF, with MVP Trout in CF, Mantle in RF. 1B is going to be Gehrig at some point, so that's the best spot for the Babe.
Why are you putting babe in his secondary position in the outfield. He only has 75 fielding to begin with...

I am actually really like this set of cards. Frank is awesome one of my favorite players and Harpers hardware card is always a beast card so his award should be no differnt. Johnson is whatever but I wouldnt be surprised if he ends up being sneaky good.
The henchmen are all a yes for me especially Romo his card last year was my most reliable reliver.
Also an inning like this maybe alot easier for people to let a card go an bank some stubs so it's all good we have plenty of time for the big cards to come

With how bad defense is in the outfield this year there’s not really a place to hide your worst outfielder. Plus I still play a lot of guys on HOF that hit the ball about as much to left as right. I’ll stick with my outfield of walker, trout, and mantle with babe at first and if he doesn’t hit I’ll put Thames back in the lineup

Personally, I loved seeing all those award cards, prime cards (especially two henchmen) and the Topps Now. More choices, lower prices to make that Trout just a tad more affordable.

I'm intrigued by Johnson, he doesn't have much variety but the control aspect piques my interest to go along with the gas. Being able to locate and push/pull the speeds with a little bit of movement could give people fits. Thomas is essentially a right handed Ortiz and Harper really doesn't fit in unless you're late to the game, which some people might be. Walker and Shef are clearly better overall choices to Harper and with Babe and Musial Frank is probably a Bench bat for most. The biggest benefit to these cards seem to be that they're needed for Trout.
If you didn't grab Ortiz Frank is a viable option, and if you havn't collected for Shef, and didn't get Walker, Harper is solid. Like I said I'm intrigues by Johnson but would have rathered a flamer lefty like the big Unit, or a lefty reliever like Tug McGraw. Overall I'd say a pretty lackluster offering. Honestly though after Ruth and Trout I'm pretty happy with my team, any upgrades will be of minor benefit going forward really.

I like frank but we have so many options at first base that it’s hard to find a spot for him. He doesn’t have a secondary so you can’t use him at 3rd. I was luke warm on picking up Ortiz but he rakes for me. Thames, belli, Musial are all similar to frank.
I must have add but I can’t stand waiting on Johnson to throw the ball. It’s annoy as Ssss

Not one of them making your team, just means your value different attributes than some others. Harper, might or might not make my main squad, but definitely on my Phillies team build. Rollins is locking down short for a lot of people. Maddox in a ton of rotations. That’s what I love about this game is the lineup diversity.

I think they ment if you finished the part for trout you already have the players locked in so its basically already done
