Anyone use the awards Andrelton?

Not concerned about attributes more or less just how his card plays. I really value arm and diamond D at short and he’s one of the few that fit the bill. I love Ozzie but the lack of 90+ arm kills me. Just wanted to hear some thoughts of anyone that has used him, I know his swing is kinda funky in years past

I don't get why they rate his arm so low even at 91 its disrespectful. The man was throwing 97 as a pitcher when he was drafted and the main reason he signed with the Braves was because we'd let him play short.

This says 95 off the mound, still should have a cannon.
To answer your question Rollins is still better defensively but I'd put Simmons 2/3. Arm is good not great, range is good not great, hasn't made an error in like 40 innings of event play.
Bat is a wet noodle but that could be 50% me being bad 50% him

I figured as much in regards to the bat. And yeah I agree his arm should’ve been 99 for me but oh well. That’s a Braves fan problem lol. I’ll pass on him for now

I use him. Defense is awesome. Hitting pretty solid

I've done pretty well with him in a limited sample size. If you're playing this card, he's going to be at the back of your order and you're probably not going to be hitting a lot of home runs but he's going to get you a lot of singles and even the occasional double. I've always liked his stance and swing, so I might be a little biased.

He's a collection card. Nothing more. So many better options at SS no speed, no power, meh contact given his lack of power... There's not enough plays at SS in the game to make his defense worthwhile given your other options. No reason to have him over Ozzie Smith if you want high level defense.
