Noah Syndergaard

He looks decent. H/9 is very low. He has outlier 2 but not 1 making the sinker flat. I was surprised by the control as well. If anyone uses him be sure to tell me how he is!

Outlier on a sinker doesn’t make every pitchers sinker flat.

I can’t name one pitcher that has a high velo sinker that moves a lot

Attributes mean a lot to most cards. The swing for a hitter is important and sometimes the delivery for a pitcher is important

Zach Britton sinker moves for me. He is nasty. 0.80 whip in 28 innings. It just comes in fast so it appears flat, but facing him you notice it moves.

I haven’t heard anyone but you say it moves. Maybe it is different for some

The new 99 Nolan Ryan has outlier for his sinker. I swear sometimes it moves a ton and other times it is flat and gets crushed. Just ask Manny Machado in the HOF game against the AL East LOL.

As long as you have pitch trail on, you can see the movement before you throw the pitch. If it's flat, call a time out and try again. Easy fix.

Interesting. I have had the pitch trail on for years and never knew that. Good tip!!!

Are you trying to throw them mid or up in the zone? Sinkers arent meant to be thrown anywhere but down. Shouldn't have much movement if thrown anywhere else but in this game we know they are ridiculous over powered.
-
Just sold off some extra cards I don't use anymore, did a little flipping, and bought Syndergaard. Haven't tried him yet, but excited to in a little bit. Need all the pitching help I can get! Lol

Britton is booty

I throw them everywhere in general. Rodneys doesn’t move at all anywhere lol. He is the worst one
-
I wish he wasn't going for so much because I'd like to give him a go as my 5th starter but I can't justify spending 80K on this card right now. After picking up SS Chris Sale and FS Luis Robert, my remaining Stubs are all tied up in my investments for the next roster update.

I was shocked how terrible that Rodney card was when I picked him up after the Ducks on the Pond pack dropped. His attributes look like he should be great -- at the very least serviceable -- but it feels like he has zero control and his pitches almost flutter out of his hand.
I used to love the low-90s Fernando Rodney card we've gotten in the past but the one we received this year is a trashcan, in my opinion.
