My first thought was Jeter.
But when you think about it, Clemente makes alot of sense.Next year will be MLB the Show 21 and Clemente was THE #21.
He is a universally loved player.
Would make a huge splash with X-Box coming into the fold. -

Legendary cover lol. Realistically I think Tatis because he has that fun vibe and is the future for the MLB

I think it is going to be a Covid mask. The only player to be on the cover after they retired was Griffey in 17

He did have speed, he just did not steal much in his career. He was a consistant double digits triples hitter.
He would be 99 across the board defensively.
With High contact and vision #'s
The power would be lower, the Great One "only" hit 240 HRs, but remember he played the vast majority of his career at Forbes and that park was huge, especially to left. -

There's absolutely no doubt Jeter would be their cover guy... IF they shell out the coin for his rights.
Edit: I can see SDS paying a lot to get him. Especially since they'll need the marketing to promote the game on all platforms for next season.

Hank Aaron, it would definitely move units and going into new platforms next year they need a face that's universal to all baseball fans. Jeter/Clemente would work as well.

If it’s a current player? Tatis Jr, Acuña are my front runners.
If they’re introducing a new legend like Hank Aaron or Clemente, I don’t see why it wouldn’t be them.

I hope too, he deserves alot of credit for being the 1st latino player, humanitarian and great ball player. Does he have a special day like Jackie Robinson? I know it's different circumstances but not much. Bring him into the show!!!
