I was feeling pretty special being able to win a few HOF Ruth challenges. Decided to get a few TA points and played a Veteran-level conquest game. Wow. Lot's of flailing WAY too early on every pitch. I looked like I've never played before.

I thought doing veteran conquest games would mess up my RS timing, but I've had the opposite experience. I hit better in RS after playing on Veteran in conquests. I can't explain it. I play on All Star in RS, so it's not like I'm going from veteran to HOF, but there is still a decent pitch speed difference

I agree - I typically warm up with a conquest game before jumping into RS. But playing 4 Babe Ruth HOF games in a row really jacked up my timing. I think I should just complete all of these and get it over with in one fell swoop.

I've only played one of the ruth moments so far. I need to though bc my stubs are at a stand still and I need starting pitching bc I sold Wood to buy beach ball packs lol. sometimes have my 10 yo son knock out conquests for me, he tried the Orioles game, but said it was too hard. I'll probably do like you said and try to finish all these before I play any ranked again

I love that! My son is now 26 and moved away, so that's out for me. I let my wife play once and that was hilarious, but unproductive...

Yes, i think changing pitch speed for different difficulties was a horrible idea, i hate it playing Showdown on Veteran and then try to play online takes me a long time to make the adjustment. I can only play online or offline, trying to switch is awful.
