Does anybody else have major issues anytime you use relief pitching with a lead? It's the errors, the horrid control suddenly, the bad swing bloop hits, the hangers, and suddenly my opponent turns into a great hitter. I am struggling bad with leads late in the game unless my starters goes all the way. Last night back to back blown leads in the ninth had me as furious as I have ever been playing a videogame. At one point on an easy double play ball my second basemen dropped the ball twice and then launched it into the stands trying to throw to first. Errors happen, but 3 on one play in the 9th inning???? This stuff always happens to me in RS.... I'm starting to think I'm cursed. Is this normal or does this happen to everybody? I'm ready to buy extra starters and rotate them to keep the stamina up and never use a reliever again... which is ridiculous because I'm using good relievers and still barely ever can hold a lead late. I'm thinking there's overpowered comeback logic in this game or something. Any advice on how to hold a lead late???

Are there ways to counter it? It just seems lately I'm better off tied or trailing in the last couple innings because if I'm winning, my team will no doubt implode in the 9th.

You're not the only one. I almost blew my last game in my game history. Back to back home runs allowed to blow a lead in the 9th 2 outs and I had Dibble. Sometimes your opponent is lucky or clutch or whatever you want to label it. I will say expect nothing but heartache in the lower difficulties. Definitely try to get your a$$ out of there If you're playing on AS for instance.

I counter by not playing ranked seasons (0-0 Record) ... not worth the headache. Having fun in events the RNG is not that infuriating over there.
