Don't forget,it's not just cards but a status symbol, for all those that haven't played on HoF before and those that have been taking the easy way, the division/league games will be incredibly tough for them. even for some that have cause the cpu plays much differently than ppl.
Fake baseball cards aren’t status symbols. Real status symbols are 22-year-old girlfriends with fake ....
Well, you see where I’m going with this.
No but beating every team on all star and 9 games on HoF is, there are many players that can't so it's an achievement if you are one of the ones who can.
just like conquest extreme, sig teams and moments extreme were.Beating cpu in HOF is not that difficult if you’re patient and don’t swing at everything.

Lolll this dude just asked if Babe Ruth was worth it
-
Babe has been expensive last two years before this. This year he is absolutely free. No terrible exchanges, just free.
Massive win by SDS here. Thanks!
-
Id do it twice

Only issue on a long HOF game is lack of focus. You’ll give up dingers if you take the cpu lightly.

I literally just followed the catchers cadence all game. Through 4 games, 27 innings I've given up 7 runs.

Like Jackie, it’s as much about what you get along the way.
Not on my console, what are the other rewards as far as stubs/xp/packs?
Aside from Seaver, Hoffman and Longoria - a bunch of packs, headliners, Ballin packs, a ducks elite pack, XP/Stubs, etc.
It’s pretty sweet

100% yes, best program to date easy.

For sure. He is a beast. Bambino forever!
And, no doubt, HOF is not that daunting once you develop the proper mechanics. It's all about retaining composure. Avoid the tendency to react too quickly. Be the bat..don't let the pitcher be the ball. As another awesome poster said...patience..wait for the perfect pitch and jump on it like a hedgehog on a crippled squirrel.

“It’s free” isn’t really a valid argument. Virtually everything in this game is “free”.
The value is tied to the 15-30 hours you’ll be playing in a mode that’s the very definition of busy work and bereft of virtually any enjoyment and weighing that to how you’d be spending your time and what you’d be accomplishing in the game otherwise.
Personally I found the signature teams program to be the most tedious and worst part of DD last year, so I’ll likely approach this like that, slowly chipping away at it, playing a game here and there when I don’t have a lot of time or feel like doing anything else. It may be even tougher though this year, since there’s been even more to do.
-
I’d say it’s worth it for sure. Most babe cards have an amazing swing. Would think this one does as well.
-
Yes... and the content has been great again this year....Just when I think that I am set for RS, another Program comes along. This stuff will keep me engaged well into winter 2021.

As a pretty crappy player I'm surprised there isn't more whining about the hof games cause for me I have a feeling those are gonna be brutal. I'm not having much trouble winning on all star, but i suck at hitting so even with my stacked lineup I'm rarely getting more than one or two runs a game.

Just wait, those people are still working through the 30 All Star games!

I played the last three games first so far.
Think I win the 9 inning game 7-2. The other two were like 2-0, and maybe 3-0.
Don’t get lazy with your pitching. If you pitch the ball repeatedly in the same location, the CPU will hit a HR. Mix in offspeed and sliders a lot. Try to throw strikes.
On offense, take pitches. Even Maddux was walking my guys left and right last night. To be honest I had a hard time hitting last night. I was tired too though. These are moments, so they don’t play as smooth as regular vs CPU. They are hard, but not impossible. At least there are no specific requirements tied to winning. Just beat the CPU.
Don’t forget, take your pitches!! They will walk you.
