I believe it is part of RTTS in 20.If you are a pitcher you want to choose your catcher(s) during the interaction scenes and make them bros.

The beginning. Needs to transfer over to DD and franchise too.

I hate the feature. To me it makes the game feel more like an arcade game. Seeing all the stupid little pop ups and getting "boost" SDS needs to scrap this [censored] and start fresh. A simple team chemistry meter is all we needs. I'm tired of hearing the narrator say the same things over and over, seeing the same lame text bubbles year after year. Interviews are not a thing and have zero impact on our character, our agent is pointless.. I'm so sick and tired of the "bowman scout day" It's not even a real thing. It's boring, pointless and just a waste. I'm also sick of the same team drafting me year after year when I go back to college. No joke.. Baltimore picked me 5 times in MLB 19. When I say I want to go back to college, the game should realize this is not a team I want to play for. They say the world evolves around you. But this game feels nothing like a real career mode. They could focus on such more important things

I have been playing RTTS since 2009 and i will tell you it was a lot more enjoyable when we just played BASEBALL. I used to be able to play a full career brfore the next game came out but that is impossible. The pop up cut scenes are terrible. As a SP I go through at least 2 between every start, sometimes more than that. Just so everyone knows they are not going to change directions on this mode because their priority is DD because that is where the money is. They have basically ruined RTTS to get you to play DD. For me this is my last year. In November the new consoles will be out and where I only play this game I am not buy one henceforth I am not buying 2021 version of the game. I just refuse to spend $400-500 for a console and then another $60-100 each year on a game that has turn into garbage.

I don't particularly like the direction RTTS is taking either but there must be some segment of the population that likes this stuff.Is there some other game's career mode that MLB The Show is trying to copy ?

I have been in this community for a long time and yes there are a few out there that want stuff but the problem is the creation of it is horrible and there needs to be a choice if you want it or not. In user setting you can have play all phases of the game or no fielding or base running it will be simulated. You have the choice to see the whole game or not so it should not be difficult to have a choice for the other things.

I 100% agree. We shouldn't have to be forced to skip through these roleplaying episodes. It's a little embarrassing too because household members probably wonder what the heck I'm playing at my age.
Exactly, SDS needs to stop forcing this on us. I don’t mind it being in the game cause sure some people like it but I think they need to have a option to turn this stuff off. It’s annoying.

Exactly. It takes away from the fun part of playing rtts. They made it more of a gimmick than a career mode. I don’t care about other players and making “friends” baseball is about winning games and earning rings.

I hope they’re not headed in the Madden direction. I will hate SDS and will skip buying their game every year then. People were saying that last year about them ruining rrts purposely.

I’m not sure but I don’t think they’re copying any sports game. 2k has story mode and EA has a general career mode you only play football games in.

Thank you! I don’t know what SDS intentions are. People say they ruined rtts to get us to play dd but this [censored] in rtts needs to be done with. I thought last year was enough for them to get rid of it.
