99 Sig Series Maddux is ELITE!!

So I've been looking for a pitcher I tried Orel, sold him for Wood. I tried Wood, and finally decided to sell him and my Matt Kemp card who I had on my bench not really used and buy Maddux. I was skeptical because he doesnt throw that hard. Small sample size just I just pitched a complete game 8k 1ER (guy scored on a double and bloop single to left in the 9th.) His delivery is so smooth, great pitch mix, and he can DOT even on All-Star. So glad I bought him, think I've found my new ace. Bought Musial the other day who absolutely rakes, and I'm going to obviously pick Jimmy when I get to 300 program stars in about 20 stars.

I just used him first time on HOF. Great control for sure, but felt very hittable to me. Definitely can’t blow sinkers by people. Very small sample for both of us lol.

You will eventually play someone decent who will run him off the mound in two innings on Allstar.

One game where you obviously played someone who struggles to hit (8k’s on Allstar vs low 90’s pitches) is not enough to call him elite.

Also, I wish none of this was true and he actually was elite.

This reminds me of when I started Kerry Wood for the first time lol. Enjoy the good feeling while it lasts (although Kerry is still my best starter he is far from invincible as I later learned)
