New to the game... need advice!

Hello.
I just got the game a couple of days ago, I bought the edition with a few free packs and since then have done a couple of conquests, really enjoying it, though even rookie level can be challenging (especially the moments?!)
I’ve got about 10k stubs But after completing the last conquest, unbelievably I packed Max Scherzer, he was selling earlier for ALOT of stubs, do I sell and build a much better team or keep?
Also, any other tips for an absolute beginner?!

Sell for sure.

Absolutely sell, there are so many better players on the market. Scherzer is only expensive because of the live series collection.
As for tips, def do the player of the month programs, so many free diamonds and 99 Paxton/98 Belli and 95 Correa/Didi are all great cards
Conquest maps have a ton of hidden reward including packs that will get you free diamonds, so def check that out.

Yes sell now,
You can build a very good team via conquest, missions and programs that there is no need to keep Max.
The other reason to sell now the market is super inflated due to the stub sale and then the great sell off that occured when the Trout collection release. The market has likely reached its peak and we will only see a down ward trend from this point forward.
I would say as some one just starting focus on the conquest boards like you have been and the Monthly award programs as this will net you not only players but a good amount of pack and stub rewards.

Most importantly have fun! Conquest and POTM are the best way to get started. For online play I would try the current event
