Is this considered Boosting?
-
No but if the other person complies they should be banned. For being stupid.
-
Boosting in my opinion is 2 people intentionally trying to match up and trade wins.
If you want me to throw a meat ball down the middle that you blast 500 feet in exchange for you quitting and making my game go faster, I'm not going to stop you.

But why should a player be allowed to jump into 175 straight event games with no intention of winning. But simply asking for a stat and then quitting?

To all the players that change their names to “HIT WITH XXXX N ILL QUIT” do you think these players should be banned for stat boosting? Essentially they are trading competitive Wins for Stats.
Yes absolutely!!!!

They arent asking though. I dont pay attention to my opponents team name and messages are off, so I wouldnt have that problem. Anything else is on SDS for allowing it to be so easy to just quit out of games or only being able to get stats for cards online in H2H action.

There was a guy here that was banned for 2 years for boosted, the thread about it is here somewhere

I’m not holding anything against you for giving up the hit. But the player should have to earn the hit/Xbh/rbi/run. Trading it for a free win is essentially win trading. Which is against the code of conduct.

No big deal, you don't have to give it to them.

A lot of these guys can't hit their way out of a wet paper bag. I played a guy who needed xx HRS for somebody and grounded out on first pitch and quit.
Had another not field anything and wouldn't swing either. I beat him 32-0. Only way I could get out was by not swinging. That was real stupid.
Play the game enough and you come across these idiots. -
If they are playing you, you simply just play the game and ignore the name. If they aren't playing you... Why do you care? I doubt this happens in ranked where it actually matters.

Whenever online stats are required, some or many will boost to get to where they are going quicker. SDS knew it would be prevalent. At least he’s out hustling for his stats, better than a couple buddies matching up and prestiging a bunch of cards in one or two nights. I only have 4, but it felt good earning it through just playing straight up.
