you only need 30 of them for trout. The other 30 is just for more XP and a ballin is a habit pack. It's a complete waste to lock in the other 30.

Right so then why have a separate "lightning" collection. Seems redundant to me.
That is actually a very good question, I hadn't even paid attention to that. Leads me to believe they're adding another reward later for collecting more stuff, like people implied.

First off, I voice text. this reward is not meant for everybody to have on day one. Some people did not prepare or are not good enough at the game which is totally cool. The people that need to grind and get this card later have that option. those people will be able to unlock trout in a month or two once these other topps now and lightning cards are available. The people who unlock it day one like myself, have been planning for this and actually had way too many cards so I made a [censored] load of stubs. I actually could have sold off all my Diamond prospects and made another 300,000 stubs but I decided I wanted trout today so I unlocked wander Franco instead of waiting for the next lightning card. That is the decision I made.I now almost feel like I have too many stubs and cards and I'm bored. Imagine that. What kind of cookie do I get?
