Dudley Do Dibble

I packed Dibble about a week ago from a standard Conquest pack and freaked out because this was my best pull ever playing The Show! My wife wasn't nearly as excited but she did her best feint excitement.
I've been using him in the event and he's been pretty much throwing BP. After reading about everyone drooling all over him I don't get it. I am usually a pretty good pitcher and can sometimes hang with some pretty skilled players based on my pitching. Hitting is another story but I feel like I am a pretty decent pitcher.
So what's up with Dibble? Is he all hype? Is it me?Is it something with this event? I'm usually matched against teams with a lot of games played so maybe everyone has just seen enough of him at this point. Should I keep trotting him out there or should I take the 90k and run?

It’s all star. No pitcher is good on all star. He is amazing on HOF and legend

I’m getting better with him. Same thing. I couldn’t hit him if my guys were swinging cricket bats. Gave up runs first 3 appearances. Definitely performing better on HOF. All star is [censored] shoot guess you have to gauge what your opponent can hit.

I cut him a long time ago. I’m a decent pitcher and Dibble has a 2.30 WHIP over 9 innings. I couldn’t take the pain any longer.

Depends on if your opponent can hit 102mph. I know i can't without completely selling out for it. And then dont be predictable. I have a sub 1 ERA with all games on All Star, including playing good players in the event. If you groove 102 all the time he is hittable. But if your opponent is thinking 102 and gets 91 cutter, then its poor hit, if he sells out for 102 and gets slider, he looks foolish. But if he is looking for any of those and you throw it, bombs away. Only recent bad outing i had with him i hung a slider and it got tattooed.

Your wife not being excited made me think of a story.
Last year my mother was over for a few days. And one day I was doing the Mays collection as she came in and asked what I was doing.I showed her and explained that if you collect all these cards, it will give you these two which you inturn collect for this one Willie Mays card.
She said “Oh that’s cool, but how do you get it?
Do they mail it to you?”
