Pitchers are easier to prestige imo. Just use this no restriction event and start whoever you're closer with. That's what I did (last event) with Rivera. Had him an a couple days.

Almost done Mantle, and Biggio, about half way on Sheffield.

Paxton only a few games played but making decent progress.
