This is a "newbie" question - it's my first year in DD, and now that regular play has started, I have questions about some of the changes on the player cards. Sorry if this thread is a duplicate.

    1. I notice the little green/up and red/down marks in the upper right-hand corner with a new ranking. Does this represent the current/temporary ranking of the player?

    2. There are 5 little stars at the bottom of the card. What do those represent?

    Thank you!

Both are related to the Inside Edge rating.

Basically it shows the players boost or downgrade based on their real life performance both recently and match up based. The more stars, the more boost. 3 is even. 4 - 5 = boost 1-2 = downgrade.

The number above or below their normal number is their adjusted overall.

I recommend checking the card details to see the exact degree of stat change sometimes the boosts are irrelevant like losing power/contact vs left on a guy you only use as a pinch hitter vs righties.
