Agreed. I am doing a DD section of my podcast, and he is the first one I thought of. His stat line this season is pretty good. Yes, it has only been three games, but still. I am guessing that we will see a lot of changes in Overall where they go up, but then go down because their being good was only a fluke.

Nelson Cruz is on fire but I don't think he goes up over one week
The problem with Nelson Cruz is that his bat is already diamond tier, there's not much to improve there. His fielding is what's keeping him from being 85+ overall, and that's not changing anytime soon since he's basically a fulltime DH now.

4.76 ERA, 4.06 FIP last year and pitching in Colorado will never let him be a diamond.
Been a HR machine his whole career, his stuff is so inconsistent and not great.
He got a lot of hype after 2018 and predictably fell on his face last year.
Hey anything can happen but him all of a sudden clicking and being a diamond caliber pitcher is pretty far fetched.
