Pitching help

Looking to upgrade my pitching staff. I have about 90k stubs to spend. What are some good inexpensive options that people seem to like that worth investing in?

Orel for around 50k would be a good start.
Also Cole Hamnels has been very good for me

Hershiser is a must, and you have the stubs to get him (unless you want to grind TA for free, the better option).

Hamels at 35K is great, Spencer Howard at 16K is great, Greinke at 13K is an absolute steal and will go back up.

Greinke will go back up to 25 or 30K after the market settles from the flash sale. Smart guys already bought several of him at 13

Just bought Howard and Greinke, watching price of Orel go up and debating if I should try and get him at 56k it maybe wait

Where are you on the Dodgers TA? You can spend about 5k per level (a little more or less depending on how patient you are with the cards you exchange). If you can spend the money on him outright - or spend the same (or a tad more) to go through the program, I’d do the latter and get the rewards along the way.

Just saying make sure it’s not a situation where you buy him for 56k, but could have mowed through the program for 50k...or even 65k, for all the packs and stubs along the way.

I haven’t really started the dodgers ya much at all. I have a good collection of cards and prob could mow through the collections yeah and get the rewards along the way which I might try since I’d have an on start anyway

Orel is a beast.. Took me a bit to get used to him on lower levels, but he's prestige for me now and he's great... Grienke was my best pitcher before the fotf cards came out.. I'm up and down with leiter but just prestige him as well...

I absolutely recommend doing it this way. The showdowns aren't horribly difficult, you get 12 TA's for moments, and you can do the exchange/missions. With zero restrictions in the event, now is the time to knock out online missions for these TA's.

Then, if you don't like him, you completed TA and he can be sold. I have a strong feeling you'll want the Dodgers TA4, so you'll thank yourself later either way.
