5-0 in 5 starts with Paxton, 3 complete games and two of those were shutouts. He’s really good, Hal is good also but a lot of people have seen him and used him so he’s not as hard to hit now.

I’ve faced Paxton twice and absolutely smoked him, and i stink at hitting. His stuff is flat and predictable. I’d go with Hal, the windup throws people off

I would rather face Paxton than Hal. That 3 mph difference in FB just shreds me in RS. But that is my weakness, i have to swing so [censored] early to hit FB that i can not hit any offspeed pitch so i look like an idiot.

I've only used Paxton for 3 games so far and he's been very bend but don't break. I've beeb able to avoid giving up HRs so far so his ERA is low, but he just doesn't have a great out pitch so I haven't been able to get many Ks and I've needed to go to the bullpen mid inning all three games so far to get out of a potential big inning.

I've used and faced Hal a ton this year as have others so a lot of people can hit him by now. His stuff is really good though so you will have some dominant games if you can tolerate the bad games that come along too.

Overall, if you don't mind the inconsistency I would go with Hal but if you want more of an even performer I would go with Paxton
