I'm 4 XBH, and 6 RBI away on those missions. Got the hits done long ago. The problem is runs. I think I need 17 still. I bat Chipper 5th, and it seems he only scores if he hits one out. I was thinking the 2 spot, or would leadoff be better.

I just want that red diamond. I really slacked during the moonshot event, really regret it now.

I bat him fourth, in between two lefties to hopefully get a favorable matchup

The best place to bat anyone if you are trying to get runs scored with him is near the top so he hits more often and before the big hitters to drive him in.

Let him hit in front of Larkin. Because Larkin rips.

I would go Larkin, Chipper and then Mantle (or the biggest power threat you have) so people have to pitch to Chipper.

Personally I'd say leave him where you hit him the best, I had this issue with a few guys, Chipper needed like 6 runs, normally I'd hit him at 5 or 6, and he was consistent there, I moved him up to leadoff and the 2 hole and did nothing with him, and if I did get on base he was left there, so I just decided to move him back and play it out and within a few games I was done.
Same with Ellsbury, needed several RBIs to finish him, he raked at leadoff so I figured I'd move him back to 3 or 4 and try and get guys on in front of him, he went stone cold, moved him back to leadoff and quickly that was done too.

It's probably in my head, and I press harder when I move guys to finish missions, but leaving them where I like them the best has worked better for me in the long run.

What i did when I only had the runs left was sit him on the bench in events and sub him in when I had a runner on 3rd with less than 2 outs. Almost guaranteed run

You could change your team name to "Chipper scores 17 runs and I'll quit"

I’d recommend 3rd cause you should have big power behind him in the 4 and 5 spots.

I would lead him off and hit your best power guys 2, 3 and 4.

Why hit him 3rd. If your frist 2 guys make outs and chipper hits a single, then he only has one out to get him him. I know when I was doing this Nolan Gorman was my best power hitter and he hit right behind Chipper.

Thanks everyone, I'm gonna try him leading off. I don't have Mantle, but I have Walker, Bagwell (he rips) HRD Cano so I've got some bats.

I guess I didn't think of him leading off, but that seems to make the most sense.

Lol my 6th has been on fire all year until I move him to clean up and then a new guy starts hitting everything in the 6 spot and so on and so on. Didi, then Cutch, then Trout, and now Cano. I don’t think I’m ever moving Cano.

I thought of this, lol. I can't believe I'm so far away on runs, bottom part of the lineup isn't pulling their weight I guess.
