Favorite Relievers?
-
Hi everyone,
Wanted to ask who was everyone’s favorite reliever? I just made some additions to my bullpen in the form of Rodney, Nen, and Dibble.. so now I’ve got those 3, Wagner, Rollie, LS Chapman, Doolittle.
Point is, who have you had good fortune with? I bought Dibble from the pure experience I don’t have a hit off him yet. Hoping he pans out. Wagner and Rollie are the only other decent performers thus far.
Who do you like/ who is your go to?

I had one 3 inning outing with Rollie and he was smooth as buttta. Small sample size but he will prob be my best bp piece

I like that Edwin Diaz card from the POTM challenges.. he feels reliable even with his pitch mix not being up to some people's standards.. Hader and Fernando Rodney are the only other 2 I feel confident using... Don't have Wagner, Dibble, or the 97 Chapman... but I imagine those three would be nice to have based on experiences facing them

The ones I don't have but want
SS Aroldis Chapman
Rob Dibble
BetancesThe ones I have and can confirm to be good
Gagne
Nen
Franco
Gossage
Eckersley
Fingers
Wagner (not as good as last year though) -
And Edwin Diaz POTM
-
Also to add, of course I only have like the 10 affinity points from collection done.. but def going to work toward Henke. That guy is basically Dibble in disguise
-
The Signature Chapman is unreal. The LS is pretty good but the Sig can make people look terrible and throw 100 mph dots.

Not even close. Henke is horrible compared to Dibble.

Really? I’ve only faced him twice but him throwing 102 and then throwing the fork was pretty hard to hit
What’s your experience against/using?
-
Heinke better than Dibble

Heinke better than Dibble
Don’t know who you are playing. Or what level...Dibble is pretty untouchable for me, Henke gives up a homer almost every time I use him...
-
Favorites and most reliable are easily Dibble, SS Chapman, Fingers and Eckersley.
-
My bullpen is:
- POTM Edwin Diaz
- All-Star Sean Doolittle
- SS Mariano Rivera
- POTM Hector Neris
- Kirby Yates
- Topps Amir Garrett
- All-Star Kerry Wood
They're all dominant but if I have to pick my top 3...
Doolittle, Neris, and Wood
-
Well there’s Chapman and Dibble, and then there’s everybody else
-
Diaz
Rodney
Doolittle
Yates
Eckersly
Rollie -
Been rolling with the following: * = my go to guys
Hader
Rollie *
Yates LS *
Eck
Doolittle
Diaz -
good fortune with Mariano / Dibble / Chapman. Pretty much unstoppable with Dibble.
-
Gagne, SS RIvera, Wagner, Fingers Will not be leaving my Bullpen. Had Dibble, Liked him, but Sold him when his Price Tag went up over 110K. Couldn't pass it up. Wanted that Griffey Jr from WS Reward and I'm regretting it. Didn't have enough to buy him back after that Flash Sale. POTM Diaz, Alvarado, AS Doolittle, Gossage from PR Reward, Rodney get rotated around. Keith Foulke and Troy Percival are decent too, but the Percival will be unhittable one game, get smashed the next or can't locate anything so I'm shying away from him.

LHP
SS Chapman
Wagner
HaderRHP
SS Mo(Prestige)
Dibble
Betances
GagneSo far I’ve been least consistent with Chapman and Dibble. They either completely dominate or get roughed up. I had more success with LS Chapman, but I’ll figure it out.
Gagne has been the biggest surprise so far as he’s pretty much been untouchable. That slowass CB makes his FB seem like 100+.

Sig series Chapman has been untouchable for me so far after I was almost talked out of buying him. Gagne has been great for me as well. Rodney has been great after a rocky start hes one of my most reliable arms now. And actually, POTM Edwin Diaz has been surprisingly good for me too.
