This ever happen to you?

I was playing showdown, had a guy on first. I press R2 to see the pitcher’s energy and just as I press it, he throws over. My runner just stood there, didn’t even attempt to dive back in and of course was out. Strangely, there wasn’t even any tag animation and I did not take the extra step at 1st. Pretty lame.

Not that exact scenario, but I’ve definitely gotten picked off a couple of times without taking any extra steps in showdowns
