Or Edwin Diaz, they would both make my pen. I prefer Diaz because he throws hard and he could get a 2 seamer or sinker. Probably gonna be a 95 and then hopefully 98 Paxton or a 99...Also when are they announcing the 4th?

I'm set in the outfield, but that Laureano card looks really good. I could use that as a late inning defensive weapon. His base card is even good. Last week, I made the mistake of trying to tag up from 2nd to 3rd and he threw an absolute bullet and got me. Mind you, this was Biggio I had. Got me by 2 steps. Won't be doing that again.

I think it will be Diaz. With the influx of high diamond hitters and a limited amount of relief pitchers that are high end and not high stubs, it makes sense for a high end free relief option to be added. IMO.

I like how they are doing POTM this year and hope they do this next year as well! Free diamonds are nice and its sad to see people on Twitter complaining about them lol

I've wondered about this. Obviously with covid-19 hitting us and delaying the season, SDS couldn't sell packs for current POTM cards. But I assume that was the plan, and they had to adjust given the circumstances. It will be interesting to see if the season starts how they do the August program. Free grind or packs?
I'm also hoping for Diaz tomorrow, I had that card and loved it.

What they need to do ,even if next year is normal, is to gather up 30-50 prior year potm,Topps now,and the special AS/PS,and maybe a few finest.
and have a fan vote on the pool, like each person has enough votes for like 25% of the pool, and during the year the release the top vote getters. -
Well the classic pack was in the game at launch, so I would think they will have classic cards in the game some way but the POTM will be packs like they have always been, probably be that way in August if their is a season imo. They might release some of the remaining POTM cards some other way but I can definitely see new POTM cards for August.
