You'll get used to him now though, it's good practice man! I just smacked 2 HRs in my first go against him and the guy quit. He's not that bad anymore.
Thats what I thought with Kershaw last year too. I have definitely gotten used to newhouser enough to where I rock him about every time. I just haven’t gotten used to Kluber yet I guess. The last event Cueto gave me quite a bit of trouble just because I haven’t seen him a lot. Most of my prestigable pitchers will be close do done after this event though thats for sure

I'm a little disappointed Awards and Signature are included when the calendar on this site only said Prime and FOTF. I started buying and selling based on just the two.
Although I have an opportunity to just flip my Catfish Hunter card... I bought it at 18800 yesterday and now he has a buy now over 29k! -

Got him last night and used him for 6 innings, so I'm not an expert, but: His cutter and sinker move so much, you won't miss having a FB. He's very different to use, but that movement is unbelievable. Guys freeze up on cutters that break into the zone on inside pitches, and on outside pitches, it moves like a slider.
He's fun to use.

He is super easy to control and that high sinker is unfair! I can pitch to Ellsbury and Chipper without being scared lol

What a dreadful event. Worst of everything. 6 innings suck, quick pitch sucks, facing basically the same line up you are going to see in RS, oh and still on HOF, which is probably the thing i am complaining about the least. I was hoping to Prestige Eric Davis, but the event is not any more fun then RS. So back to RS i guess, at least there i dont have to keep resetting my line up.

This event has been painful, but I just really want to earn that Rangers Darvish card... and at that point I'll be 10 away from Betances, so why not! Gonna just keep slogging through and enjoy the Prestige quits when I get them.

Consensus has Hershiser as the top FotF pitcher, so why is he currently 20k less than Kerry Wood?
I'm thinking 70k for Kerry Wood is a pretty good chunk of change, and basically will assure I lock in Mantle.

I really hope the next 1 allows future stars, I think I need TA for every team at this point (got some done in moonshot but no pitchers).

I'd guess because a good number of people at Dodgers TA completed up to the end of Stage 2 to get Graterol. Whereas people slept on the Cubs one because it was underwhelming.

Is that the consensus? I'd rather hit against him than quite a few guys. Off the top of my head: smoltz, wood, palmer and maybe marichal or Burnett

I was only going by what the vast majority on this forum have mentioned. Maybe I misread the popularity and hype.

Is this just a 6 inning rs, then? The way I read it is everyone can use their next non prestiged cards.
In my opinion, that’s kind of lame. I thought events were way to use different cards and a way for people who don’t play 1000 games a day to earn rewards.
Am I missing something?
