Opponent disconnected me?

In 7th inning of RS game. 8-6 close game Ball in dirt and I backpick him at first. He enters the pause menu and about 30 seconds later I get the “Network error has occurred.” This has happened to me before but it was when the game was lagging and than it disconnected me. This one seems extremely fishy. Not one to complain but this is suspect.

I have had this happen to me before and I thought my opponent quit next thing I knew I got the L. I was winning the game and My PS4 is hardwired. It is a little Fishy.
