I have struggled with him, gave him 150 AB His line is .221 8 HR 19 RBI - I just can’t hit with him at all - anyone have problems batting with him? I couldn’t hit with trout either - I prestiged victorino and I think I’m going to put him back in CF - He was batting .270 14 HR 48 RBI in 250 AB - and plays an amazing CF - all in all who else got him and was sadly disappointed? For the record I have been wrecking with sheff and biggio

You are probably in the small minority. Mickey has been my favorite card, easily the best performing. I'm 2 hits away from his prestige.

I’ll say this bud, don’t give up yet. I’m a World Series player, and with him being the best player in the game, I was only batting .270 with 100 atbats. My buddy reminded me last year I started off slow with willie mays but by years end I got his average around .360 with 1400 abs. lol mantle is now batting .398 for me and close to prestiging. For me I was pressing. Thinking since they are the best players in the game, I can swing at anything. You still have to treat their at bats as you would with anyone else. hopefully this helps and you start raking!

His swing seems slow to me - I am not sure why a lot of weak contact

Definitely stick with him. It's easy to press with a card like that at first. I was hitting at around .100 with Sheff for my first 25+ games. I actually moved him to my bench. That average of his started getting in my head, even when pinch hitting. I had to stop pressing. He's now one of my best hitters... Mickey is amazing. Keep grinding and be patient.

Amazing card so far. Not many at bats but .375 7 homeruns in 48 at bats, hopefully it continues
