Showdown.
Have only played a handful and I literally mean like 7 attempts. I’ve beaten the 4th and 5th inning ones. Sweet.
So I wanna work on the affinity Showdowns since they “made them easier” and my experience was the worst I’ve had in the entire game.
Was doing NL East and quit vs Degrom 6-15 with 9 outs left. The games vs the mini bosses were easier than the run challenges the entire time. Ball after ball after ball either good/good or perfect are just lazy fly balls OR the OF are Jim Edmonds after balls.
Being on this forum and seeing the complaints all year about showdown I knew exactly what to expect. Seeing it happen multiple times in multiple games is indescribably atrocious. This mode is unplayable beyond belief and will not be doing anymore showdowns.
And I will see yous tomorrow.

Super easy take till 2 strikes especially against closer pitcher bosses don’t move the PCI at all and just wait for middle of plate pitches if they aren’t there just foul it off until it crosses that zone you really like I’m dominating on affinity’s right now with that strategy, also try to find the card that gives you better contact in 2 strike counts

Just do the exchanges. Buy silvers and 74 bronzes. You get back a minimum of 13.5k from the stubs they give you and BIAH packs. Providing you sell all the cards from the packs you should barely spend any stubs at all. Honestly you should make a real good profit if you do all 30 teams this way. Plus its way faster than playing showdowns

Showdowns are way , even stage 3. I’m a horrible gamer and I can even take em down.

Patience is the key to showdowns, killing their confidence levels is the way to go. Even Kluber will eventually wear down just by running his pitch count up.

Question for those that think showdown is the worst thing in the world. What perks do you use? For me personally if I get gold or higher Off the Radar and heart attack paired with diamond clear for takeoff there is no possible way for me to lose

Ive never used off the radar, i mean i try to not swing at pitches out of the zone, so why is that a good one in your opinion.
