I'm going after Orel FOTF at the moment but trying to decide who to chase next. Brett looks good but I've already got Killebrew at 3B.

So far I've got Gwynn, Davis, Mattingly, McGriff, Wood, and Smoltz.

I guess I'm just curious if Brett is worth it, and who else to go after?

Out of those 2, I'd go with George Brett. His swing is way better than Killebrew's and he has the glove and a bit of speed. Killebrew is a PH to me.

Brett for 3rd over killebrew but killebrews bat is ridiculous for me, everything is a bomb but its a slow swing. Brett d is really good and he squares everything up easier then killebrew just less pop.

Other guys ive used and like alot so far is lou brock and henke from Toronto.
Brock doesnt make my outfield but is a hit machine for me so he will live on my bench as pinch runner and hitter when i need a basehit.
Henke took a couple rs games to get used to because of only having 3 pitches but once i learned to mix them right hes been lights out for me.

Thats where I'm at, I've played 4/5 games with Killebrew and he's averaging a HR a game for me.

I've tried to love Killebrew, bought and sold him twice now.. but I can't hit well with him, I guess it's the slow swing. I got Brett day one, and over 100 ABS, he's a doubles/gap machine, hitting high 300's, and good D.

I like Brock, his card last year was great but he wouldn't make my OF either, and I have Lofton on my bench. He's been solid for me and is a great pinch runner. I haven't heard anything about Henke though.

Brett in a landslide. His swing is truffle butter.
Thought I'd never take 94 Chipper out of my lineup til now.

Henke is really good and worth getting in my opinion. Hes tall so his fastball down mixed with the forkball is really hard to time up and on top of it his slider is slower with lots of movement to keep guys off balance. The only thing missing to me is a change up but for just an inning i can count on him at end of games and thats really tough this year.

I haven't tried Brett yet, except for moments, but Killebrew hits so many HRs.
