How long should I expect to play a conquest map before completing it? Assuming I am fairly decent at the game.. I have never had the interest/patience/understanding to play one of these all the way through
A couple hours at most. Maybe a afternoon. Normally it's anywhere from 6 teams to 10 teams each being 3 inning games ( so about 20/25 minutes could be quicker if your rushing through) and I'd say about 20 minutes to capture the other territories by simulating the games.

It is the only player program and map I can’t do. Never complete once.
I work on it for daily missions or TA missions, I've completed it 3 times so far this year. I often just use the rewards from the 10 pack at the end for TA exchanges unless it's a great diamond.

I have gotten to 11 strongholds and then they started taking 2 of them over and quit.
Try taking out Minnesota and Colorado first then head west and take out that side. By the time you take out Arizona/LA/ and Oakland you should have enough to win. It's just a bit of a pain having to play the Yankees or Red Sox 6/7 times at the end.

I took out al west and NL west and one other maybe KC... then all went downhill
