LarkinVs left handed pitching Larkin is great but just don’t have the pop vs righties. Cals swing stinks. He looks great on paper but he is the consensus worst swing in the game pretty much every year
I banged a hanging cutter vs RHP for a dinger in his first AB of his debut for me. I said to myself, “Well I guess that answers that...”

It's a small sample size size, but I've loved hitting with FOTF Michael Young. Has GREAT contact and enough power to got the occasional HR and plenty of XBH. He recently replaced Brujan at SS for me.
I bought him to use at 2B with Yount at SS.. I enjoy using him as well

Got to give FotF Torres and Tatis Jr. a mention. Did really well with them early on.
Didi, Banks and Correa are easily my top 3 though.

Han ram is the best bat at shortstop. I personally love his swing. Defense can let you down but he will surprise you with the plays he makes.
I play Hanley at second base, and even out of position, he makes most of the plays for me.

Ozzie is my SS too. Zero power but the guy gets base hits for days and with his speed those singles often times turn into doubles. On top of that I don't think anyone could argue that his defense is second to none, easily the best defensive SS in the game and it's not even close. I want to try Banks and maybe even Yount but I can't bring myself to take the Oz man out of my lineup.

Dont have banks but speaking for Yount... good sure.... but you're going to miss that Switch hitting from Oz if you do make the jump

I usually start Didi at SS. I struggle big time with lefties against Hal. If I match against Hal, believe it or not, I sub in the 92 Mike Schmidt. Crushes lefties and SS secondary.

Same! Ozzie is my lead off guy. Not many RBI’s and no homers but hitting .370-.400 consistently with him online. Gotta love the flips too lol

Yeah for sure, that's another reason I haven't made the switch yet. I know there are better options on paper but really Ozzie does it all except hit for power.

Brujan and POTM Correa (his swing is just too smooth for me to let go) platoon has been god mode for me. Banks is interesting though...anyone confirm his swing being funky from what I've heard? Hear pretty mixed things on that, but as usual - use them enough and you get used to it I assume.

All for a guy that's currently going for only 10k in the market. Imagine how low his price will be at the end of September. I might give another SS a try but it would have to be someone with close to his defensive ratings. I wouldn't expect the same since it probably won't get any better than Ozzie but close at least. I just can't see paying 100k for some other SS when Ozzie does what he does for me.
