TA Moments 1-3

Believe it or not if you use the pitcher view while hitting you can tell what pitch is being made to you with about 80 percent of the pitchers in the game. Not sure how many of you knew this. It kinda like cheating and probably the reason you can’t use that view in online play.

I haven’t had any problems with the pitching moments it’s the 3xbh moments that are such a pain.
There a pain because no pitches are over the plate. Have you done the Killebrew moment yet? That one took awhile for me too beat. I have 6 left in the AL but i'm just starting on the NL.

Yep, and I did have a problem completing Killebrew one because the opponent refused to throw strikes. And being in the metrodome only made it that much more frustrating as I was hitting lasers of the hefty bag for doubles

Yup i hit one high up the right field wall and was thinking to myself great i beat it, nope that counts as off the wall. I just started swinging at everything that was a strike and eventually got it done.

what are you looking at to be able to tell?

what are you looking at to be able to tell?
The catcher?
Look at the pitchers fingers. You can tell what the pitch will be based on the seams and finger placement. You can even tell what type of fastball it will be whether it’s four seam two seam sinker cutter. You can tell where the pitch will be aimed based on the catchers glove placement. You can thank me later

I emailed SDS and they unlocked it manually for me. They said they would pass it on to the devs to look at, this was about a week ago.

I think it’s 130 for stage 3
It's bugged, it doesn't unlock for some even after 130. I think that's what he's referring to. I had the same issue while I already had unlocked Schmidt.

Just pressing up using power swing. Directional is all about timing. If you get the timing down and swing only at strikes the power moments will be easy

I am getting eaten alive online...I can win in HOF against CPU but that’s because of my pitching mostly...I’m still trying to get the hang of zone. Dumb question but how do you know where to hit the ball in zone? You can’t direct it?

So true , I go back and forth between directional and zone online. I’m only 500 ish player I can’t pick up fastballs quick enough with zone due to age and screen. If they bringing heat I switch to directional and pray. If not , I use zone.
But yes, directional only gets you so far
