Small sample size, but one game-
    7 innings
    18 k's
    0 runs
    3 hits

He is nasty. Glad I finished TA 3 and got him.

    Man, you and me both.

For some reason I was compelled to do a Cubs M2O about a month ago and I am so glad that I did considering how good that Kerry Wood is. I was sure that their reward was going to be Billy Williams, too. Glad I was wrong.

18 K's? Had to be a vs CPU game. Or you played a blind kid.

I had a perfect game with wood and 22 k's at the 500 level. My opponent was blind as a bat...but gimme some pity points at least.

Let me guess, you were the opponent who struck our 18 times?

Is he difficult to control? I'm thinking about picking that card up too but that control has me a little hesitant. I used that Nolan Ryan card that's part of the LS collection for a while and he did great against lesser opponents. Most of the time guys would be swinging at pitches out of the zone but the good players would wait until you have to throw strikes and then get something over the middle and smash it. I'm wondering if Kerry Wood is similar.

Yeah phish he can be. This is going to sound strange but pitchers like him with poor control get some glitchy paint jobs on the corners. Like aiming the middle of the strikezne and hitting corners.

His cutter is filthy, definitely my bail out pitch

He is kind of all over the place. When he missed for me it wasn't right down the middle.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean. That Nolan Ryan card I mentioned was very similar. With that though, I would also get the paint job that ends up going down the middle and getting ripped. I might have to give Kerry Wood a shot though, card is definitely intriguing and most of what's been said on here is good.

That's good news though, right down the middle is NOT where you wanna miss.

I might make it to 600s, probably won't get much higher than that. I'm not all that great.
