I love flash sales.....

Not because I buy the packs, but I take advantage of the market crashing because of it. I got Heyward, Weiters, and Grienke for about 30k and I love it!! Wanted to switch up my lineup a little, and I've wanted to try Heyward and Weiters since they were released, just never pulled the trigger until today. Grienke was a bonus as well.

Things like this have taught me never to by a card of the market for at least a few weeks. Bought Greinke for 82k which was a steal at the time. Fast forward a few weeks and he is under 30k, a true punch in the got. Then I paid about 64k for Kemp only for him to go down by half in a few days. Lesson learned.

I got Greinke for 13K. That was a steal. That’s a filthy card.

Thats most cards though. Any cards out of packs end up lower the longer they are available. Look at it this way. You used him for almost a month when he was a stud. Now he's a 97 when there are a bunch of new 99's. There will always be a better and newer card upgrade so might as well enjoy the card and get use out of it while you can. A lot of people dont play year round. I lose interest once the real season ends in real life.

Bingo. They also become cheaper because they have released more Ducks on the Pond packs, and in Kemps case, more opportunities to pull him adding headliner packs to conquest maps, inning rewards, etc. You just have to play the market right. When they have sales like this and someone pulls a card they dont want, they will panic sell which is a great opportunity to buy.
Same happened to me, though. I bought Hamels off the market for like 50k a few weeks ago, and his price has gone down significantly. Do I care? Not really because hes been my best pitcher this year, and I realize that there will be better cards released the rest of the year.

I was able to snag Mcgee for 22k, was happy with that.
