Andre Dawson Team affinity moment is a pain

The moments on rookie always give me trouble. It's the timing that throws you off. When you're so used to veteran/all star in these moments the one on rookie can really offset your groove.
My advice is to sit back a bit longer on pitches and power swing.

What about when you go like 25-30 with bichette with 24 singles when you need 3 XBH. What's the move?!

How about 5he Killebrew hit 1 home run. I've been walked 8 times in 4 games. 8! I had no idea Ohtani's control was this bad.
Don't get me started on that Moment! Couldn't pick up the ball out of Otani's hand worth a [censored]. Finally got a HR after 20+ attempts. I was so frustrated.

are you power swinging? I think the bigger PCI on normal swings leads to more line drives/singles.

I feel like when you have a Rookie size PCI you tend not to square up as good because the PCI is so large we tend to not move the icon as much and therefore hit it off center. All star is the best balance between lining up pitches against the PCI icon IMO.

I'm just giving you [censored]. Lol. I got it done eventually normal swinging. These moments are just random and that's the issue most people are having.

Yeah an easy moment made difficult, because Ohtani owns me. I finally beat him in al west Showdown after a dozen tries. Finally never have to play division Showdowns ever again

I did it, finally a homerun with Killebrew , that only took 40 some odd trys lol.
-
So I figured out something for hitting homeruns when needed when you just can't seem to get the power needed.
- Power swing. If you need XBH, power swing with guys like Dawson who don't have 100+ power stats.
- Switch to retro for your hitting view. Dead serious. Don't know what it is but I seem to pick up those lower pitches better and crush them.
-
It is honestly easier for me to accomplish moments on all star. I think it is the pitch speeds that cause most of the issues. Also the fact that the computer really gives you maybe 1-2 pitches per at bat to swing at.

I did that one in my 1st attempt. I struggled with the T Hunter HR, and Pujols 3XBH ones so far.

Good advice, for sure, but IMO nobody wants to work the count on rookie.
This is the part of this game that is driving me away to other games.
