Wood definitely better just cuz K/9 eliminates check swings, but both underwhelmed. Combined 5 runs in 17 innings but constantly felt like a grind, and one of my opponents wasn't good at all but still squared up Smoltz.
Edit: Maybe others think I'm wrong, but I'm putting Sixto or Greinke back in rotation over Smoltz I think becasue sinkers = king

I'm a fairly average hitter in this game and Smoltz completely embarrassed me last night. AND I was a couple seltzers deep in that perfect focused/buzzed mentality. He's the real deal

That perfect focused/buzzed mentality is a wonderful place to be. It doesn't last long, either you aren't there yet or you've long passed it, but when you're sitting right there it can be very helpful in this game.

Finally a decent starter with a slurve not named Mize going for way to much, Kerry Wood already stole a game for me I had no business winning.

Thatās how I am playing pool. Trash sober, trash drunk. Can maybe win a game if Iām just slightly buzzed but that wonāt last long.

More like if OP had said āIt'll be $5 for this hamburgerā and then showed up with an optional large fry that you felt compelled to eat every single one since it was free and then you go "why did I eat so much I'm trying to lose weight"?!
