Showdown-play to the last out

I was playing the 5th inning showdown earlier and got to the mini boss where you start with the bases loaded and have to score 3 runs. Hit a line drive to the pitcher and the cpu for some reason sent my runners so they threw the ball around the diamond and ended up with 4 outs off 1 pitch. Got my next few guys out cause I was taking bad swings in frustration. Focused up at the end got a few hits and hit a 3 run bomb to beat it. Moral of the story-even if it seems like the cpu is doing everything to screw you always play til the last out because you never know what can happen.

You have to Turn off auto base running. I had a similar experience

I understand being a smart [censored] when someone posts something smug or stupid obvious but I was just trying to show all the RNG "outcomes are already decided" people that even when it seems like the cpu is trying to screw you, its on you if you lose. As frustrating as that was I still had 6 outs left so if I couldn't score 3 runs in 6 outs I can be mad about what happened but ultimately it would be on me for losing.
