I know this is not supposed to happen. I guess there is a bug where LS and Sig Cole Hamels aren’t considered the same player.

It's based on a card, not the player. You just can't use both at the same time.

That’s not true. If you try using for example Live Series and Awards Kluber in your ranked rotation at the same time, it says “This player is already in use”

Very weird. It’s common for this to happen in showdown, but I’ve never heard of it in BR. My guess is that you will be able to use both because you don’t have to add each player in a lineup screen.
