Runners Freezing?

I've been facing an issue that is starting to get really annoying.

Most recent scenario, man on 1st, hit a hard grounder to 1st which the first basemen bobbled but my runner stopped a few steps further than his lead-off? My opponent doubled me off.

I've had it a few times where runners just stop, is this common?

It's been happening to me since a few days ago. Its happened about 5 times. I was wondering if it was my controller.
