How many R/L/S hitters in your line up
-
I'll never have 2 lefties in a row, and rarely 2 righties.. that's it... So usually a mix of 3-4 righties, 3-4 lefties, 1-2 switch hitters.. whatever is best out there at the time.
I'd take 8 switch hitters if they were my best options -

What’s bare minimum of Righties and Lefties are in your lineup. Does the amount make a difference to you if you have X amount of switch hitters.
I run KeBryan Hayes at 3rd base because I love his defense and his hitting stats are not bad. Plus he had speed. But leaves me with only one lefty and 1 switch hitter
Or does it even matter to you if they hit both handed pitchers the same.?

Well I use Roberts (I just hit well with him for some reason) , Chipper, Mickey, sometimes Ketel, so those are my switch hitters. I have to keep Reggie and Foster in the lineup, they hit everything hard. Same for 99 Sheff, everything is a bullet. Then it's 99 Posey , I've found him to be the best C for me. As for 1B, been trying our lightning Belli, but sometimes I'll go with Giambi. If I want a S there I'll use TA Santana.

Pitchergranted once I get some better left handed bats for free there will be more lefties than righties

Batting I dont care handedness, its about what they hit, I still prefer to carry more guys who hit RHP better. But give my my best 8.
Pitching I want at least 2 LHP in the pen.

I treat my switch hitters as if they only hit with their dominant side when balancing. I find this leads to better matchups. For example, Chipper sees more lefties between Mantle and Belli. Or Mantle may see more righties between Biggio and Chipper.

IT changes all the time for me, but today it's:
1: Trammell L
2: Cutch R
3: Mantle S
4: Sheffield R
5: Banks R
6: Gorman L
7: Sandberg R
8: Posey RBench is:
Hanley R
Biggio R
Jackson L
Marsh L
Giambi LIf I use Gorman at 3rd and Giambi at 1st it's a perfect L/R balance.

That is the lineup for today, might bring Didi in for Victorino, and if I struggle with Reggie I will use Bellinger.

POTM Bellinger is one of the best cards in the game right now. I'd find a way to get him in your lineup lol
